During the finale of the Survival Show I-Land, "Enhypen" was introduced as the name of the new group. The name is derived from the symbol "-", which is called "Hyphen". Just as Hyphen connects words, Enhypen's goal is to connect and create something new together.
Among the countless boy and girl groups that the K-pop scene is known for, there are some that have nine or even ten to 12 members. Beyond that, there are even larger groups, but that is then rather rare. Among these very few is Seventeen, with 13 members!
Back in 2013, the first foundation was laid for the girl group ITZY, which debuted in 2019 and is now an indispensable part of the K-pop scene. In 2017, all the members were gathered, but it took two more years in which a lot happened before they made their debut together.
TXT is the first boy group to debut under Big Hit after BTS six years earlier, and expectations among K-pop fans were accordingly high. These were already fulfilled and perhaps even exceeded with the first album "The Dream Chapter: Star".
Solar was originally preparing for a future as a flight attendant when her singing talent was discovered at the age of 20. She debuted in 2014 at the age of 23 with Moonbyul, Wheein and Hwasa; the latter is the youngest member of the group at 18 at the time.
Stray Kids are Bang Chan, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Seungmin, I.N., Lee Know and Felix; we can't imagine it any other way. Still, it almost turned out differently. In JYP`s Survival Show, to the horror of the fans, first Lee Know and then Felix were eliminated.

A year before the debut of ATEEZ, eight trainees from KQ Entertainment have already attracted attention. On May 18, 2018, a performance video appears on KQ Entertainment`s Youtube channel in which the future members of ATEEZ dance to "Pick It Up" by rapper Famous Dex.
