Thanks to Tommy Hilfiger's slip-up at the Met Gala on Monday, we got confirmation that Stray Kids has a 2024 World Tour with 40 dates planned. But those are by no means the only exciting news this week: Yesterday the date for Stray Kids' comeback was confirmed, and today the boy group released a new song feat Charlie Puth!
Stray Kids return with a new album on July 19!
The news excites fans all over the world, after all the last album “Rock Star” is already six months old. With 4.2 million copies sold so far, it is Stray Kids' second best-selling album after “5-Star” with 5.2 million sales. On top of that, it ranks eighth among the best-selling albums in Korea of all time! 5-Star currently ranks third, right behind “FML” and “Seventeenth Heaven” by Seventeen.
We are curious whether Stray Kids can outdo themselves again this year. So the new album undoubtedly has the potential to become the most successful album of the year! We are keeping our fingers firmly crossed!
Stray Kids' new single: "Lose My Breath" (Feat. Charlie Puth)
A few hours ago, Stray Kids uploaded a brand new single to YouTube! “Lose My Breath” is about the feeling of breathlessness when the girl you love walks into the room. The song was created in collaboration with the American singer and songwriter Charlie Puth. His voice can be heard too, but he does not appear in the music video.
Even though the single only came out this morning, the music video has already been viewed over 2 million times! At this pace, it won't be long before the video reaches the 3 million mark as well. Fans are already calling the single the collaboration of the year!
The song was probably the least surprising thing for us this week, because Stray Kids already announced it on their social media on April 25 and have released a few more teasers since then.
It surely won't be long before we can tell you more about the new album, so stay tuned!
