Got7 fans have a reason to celebrate, because in May the boy group is finally returning as a group with a new album!
It has been almost a year and a half since the popular boy group released an album. The last one was “Breath of Love: Last Piece” in November 2020, with the title track “Last Piece”.
A lot has changed since then, because in January 2021 JYP Entertainment confirmed that all seven members had left the agency. Of course, fans feared that this meant the end of Got7. But the members assured their fans that they would continue to work together as a group in the future. As if to prove that promise, Got7 released the single “Encore” on a new Youtube channel on February 19.
Since then, however, the members have first gone their separate ways. Jay B and Bambam finally made their official solo debuts, and the other members also released new music. Jinyoung and Youngjae were also active as actors, among other things.
Various members have recently hinted that a joint comeback is coming soon, and now it finally seems to be time! There is still no official date or any details, but according to a Korean news agency, preparations for the new album are almost complete.
We hope it won’t be long until we learn more!
