“With heavy hearts, we have to announce the postponement of the KPOP LUX London show. We tried to find a way to keep the show alive, but we simply ran out of options.” The KPOP LUX organizer shared this message the day before yesterday on Twitter, Instagram and the official website.

The festival was actually supposed to take place on September 22 and 23 at the O2 Arena in London. Many big stars such as ITZY, ZB1, Yena and TXT were among the expected guests, so the excitement was understandably huge.
No wonder the fans are disappointed. On social media, they shared the outfits and freebies they had been preparing for months and their disappointment that they now won't be used after all.
As the reason for the postponement, KPOP LUX stated that, due to unforeseen circumstances, it is not possible to produce a high-quality show.

The KPOP LUX festival took place in Madrid, Spain in July, and until a few days ago it looked as if the event in London would also go ahead as planned. The full lineup was only announced on August 30. In recent days, the organizer even shared video messages from the various artists on Twitter and elsewhere, and as late as September 7 they kept fueling the excitement with more posts.
What the cancellation means for the future of KPOP LUX is still unclear. The organizer expressed hope that fans will buy tickets again once a new date is announced, but many have already said they no longer have any faith in the event.
Everyone is supposed to get their money back, but since the concert was canceled at such short notice, many visitors are left stuck with their hotel and flight costs.
To make the best of the situation, some fans are now planning to get together privately!

If you are in London on September 22 and 23, you might be able to attend one of these fan meetups to spend the day together with others. This is your chance to wear your planned outfit and hand out freebies! Of course, those who didn't have a ticket for KPOP LUX are welcome too.
One example is the “HATE KPOPLUXX EVENT”, which is planned for Friday, September 22. There will be freebies as well as the chance to trade photocards.
